Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate strait and is located at the Presidio Park. This magnificent bridge, perhaps San Francisco's most famous landmark, opened in 1937 after a four-year struggle against relentless winds, fog, rock and treacherous tides. The best spots to keep your eye for the Golden Gate Bridge are the Hyde Street Pier, PIER 39 and the North and South Vista Point. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge you can go to Sausalito and the Muir Woods National Monument.
