All about the 4th of July
Fireworks, flags…, everything is ready for the 4th of July! If you still do not know what to do, here are some ideas:
What about starting the day with a barbecue or a picnic? Golden Gate Park is the perfect place to do it. Take advantage of it in order to gain strength and sunbath before continuing the celebration.
Sausalito also offers a lively alternative from the very beginning of the day. From 10am you will be able to enjoy the traditional parade through the streets of the area: bands, classic cars parade… In the afternoon you will also be able to enjoy a picnic in Dunphy Park while you wait for the fireworks.
At night you will be able to live the real celebration of the Independence Day with the fireworks. At Pier 39 the pyrotechnic show will start around 9:30pm. Apart from enjoying this show, you will be able to go back to the 80’s with the performance of Tainted Love –Best of 80’s live.
Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most recurring places to watch the fireworks but the walkways close at 9pm. Next to this iconic bridge you will find many valleys from where you will be able to watch the fireworks, for example Crissy Field. Bring something to eat and good company to enjoy a nice evening out.
There is a plan for everyone, whatever happens, Happy Independence Day!
